Internship positions for TU architecture students
Who are you?
You are creative and curious. You are not afraid to ask questions and are open to learning. Initiative and a good sense of humour are appreciated and contribute to the culture and atmosphere of the office. You are studying architecture or urban planning at the TU and want to use your internship to discover what you enjoy. Our projects and clients are located in the Netherlands, so it is helpful if you can speak Dutch.
What skills can you develop at KOW?
You will have the opportunity to work on competitions and plan development. Under the guidance of an architect, you will develop design skills in Sketchup & Revit and work on presentation materials in programs such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. We encourage hand sketching and have various drawing tablets available. We believe in space for personal development and you will have a lot of freedom to make your own contributions.
Who are we?
To improve urban life, KOW’s mission is to research and shape natural urban living. With 35 colleagues, we work from The Hague and Eindhoven on projects where we aim to restore the balance between human nature and increasing urbanization. A balance between natural living in the city, comfortable urban densification, and social solutions for a resilient society. Our core values touch on contemporary themes such as care for a responsible living environment, circularity, and health. We work with modern craftsmanship on projects in residential construction, commercial construction, education, and healthcare. As a team, we often engage in fun activities together, such as social drinks and excursions.

KOW Eindhoven is located in the Videolab, in the dynamic environment of Strijp S, a short distance from the center and the TU/e.

KOW is een architectenbureau met 35 professionals. Vanuit onze vestigingen in Den Haag en Eindhoven ontwikkelen we antwoorden op de ruimtelijke vragen van vandaag én morgen. Voor onze vestiging in Eindhoven bieden voor het komende semester:

Wie ben jij?
Je bent creatief en nieuwsgierig. Je bent niet bang om te vragen en staat open om te leren. Eigen initiatief en een goed gevoel voor humor worden gewaardeerd en dragen bij aan de cultuur en sfeer op het bureau. Je studeert architectuur of stedenbouw aan de TU en wil je stage gebruiken om te ontdekken wat je leuk vindt. Onze projecten en opdrachtgevers zijn in Nederland, dus het is handig als je Nederlands kunt.
Welke vaardigheden kan je bij KOW ontwikkelen?
Je krijgt de kans om mee te werken aan prijsvragen, selecties en planuitwerkingen. Onder begeleiding van een architect ontwikkel je ontwerpvaardigen in Sketchup & Revit en werk je aan presentatiemateriaal in programma’s zoals Adobe InDesign, Photoshop en Illustrator. We stimuleren het maken van handschetsen en hebben verschillende tekentablets beschikbaar. We geloven in ruimte voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling en je krijgt veel vrijheid om je eigen bijdrage te leveren.

Om het leven in de stad te verbeteren is het KOW’s missie om natuurlijk stedelijk leven te onderzoeken en vorm te geven. Met 35 collega’s werken wij vanuit Den Haag en Eindhoven aan projecten waarin we de balans tussen de menselijke natuur en verdergaande verstedelijking willen herstellen. Een balans tussen natuurlijk leven in de stad, comfortabel stedelijk verdichten en sociale oplossingen voor een veerkrachtige samenleving. Onze kernwaarden raken aan eigentijdse thema’s zoals de zorg voor een verantwoorde leefomgeving, circulariteit en gezondheid. We werken met modern vakmanschap aan projecten in de woningbouw, utiliteitsbouw, onderwijs en zorg. Met het team ondernemen we vaak leuke activiteiten met elkaar zoals borrels en excursies.
