Project leader at MHB

Project Leader

Are you ready to take the lead on high-end architectural projects of world-class quality? At MHB  “Dutch Masters of Steel 1667”  you will lead prestigious projects from start to finish, from the initial design to on-site installation. You will work on complex, high-end façade solutions and exclusive interior frames — from luxury villas in Switzerland to iconic façades in London. You safeguard the vision, craftsmanship, and outcome. We are looking for a Project Leader with a feel for engineering, precision, and design. Someone who moves effortlessly between engineering, production, assembly and clients, and who always manages to keep overview and progress under control.

What you will do

You will lead a wide range of projects: from medium-sized assignments to complex multi-million-euro projects that require technical depth and sometimes perseverance. Your work will be visible worldwide in the top segment of architecture.

As Project Leader you will be responsible from A to Z: from planning and procurement to technical coordination, financial management, and quality assurance. You will guide international projects for MHB’s clients, often in close cooperation with our regular partners.

Together with the client and our engineers you will finalize the design. Once approved, you coordinate the subsequent process: from production planning and material procurement to transport and preparation for installation. Throughout the entire process you monitor progress, quality, and financial performance with attention to detail and to the bigger picture.

In summary you are responsible for:

  • Coordinating the full project process, including planning, quality, and financial progress.
  • Solving various technical challenges with your team, for example regarding wind- and water-tightness.
  • Timely and efficient procurement of materials.
  • Clear and professional communication with clients and international partners.
  • Providing quarterly updates to the internal project organization, including forecasts, insights, and feedback processing.
  • Reviewing technical drawings and detailing, you ensure feasibility and quality.
  • Additionally, contributing to product development and process optimization.

This position is far more than a desk job. From your workplace, you sometimes step directly into the factory to closely follow the production of your projects. You collaborate closely with our Steel Masters to solve complex technical challenges when needed. This gives you plenty of opportunity to take responsibility and further develop as a Project Leader.
